SHARE SAVINGS ACCOUNT
The initial account that you open at the British Airways EFCU is the Share Savings Account. This account makes you a member of the credit union and gives you access to all the other services of the credit union whether it's for saving, checking or your borrowing needs.
The Share Savings Account is an excellent way to establish a regular pattern of saving. Your money earns a competive dividend or interest rate with a tiered structure, so the more you save the more you earn. Currently our dividend rate is between .50% APY and 1.01 APY.
You can easily access your funds at the credit union in person, online through our on-line banking system or TellerPhone our audio response system as well as by phone or mail. We even have a British Airways EFCU ATM card that you can make withdrawals and at some ATM's make a deposit throughout the country. Many of them surcharge free with our network of surcharge-free ATM's.
